Our Impact

We use our community spirit to make a practical difference by supporting people, programs and projects that strengthen lives, build opportunities and create connected communities — locally, nationally and internationally.

Helping people in need

We work alongside trusted frontline local organisations that provide food, shelter, safety and practical assistance to individuals and families experiencing hardship homelessness, poverty, domestic violence and social isolation across Canberra. This includes support for food rescue and distribution, emergency meals, crisis services, women and families at risk, and programs that build confidence, resilience and independence.

Backing young people
For youth at-risk, facing significant disadvantage, and to students striving for excellence, our support includes youth justice awards recognising personal effort and progress, scholarships and bursaries to ease education costs, school awards celebrating leadership and growth, sponsorship of science and learning opportunities, and equipment that promotes wellbeing and participation and helps young people build confidence, skills and a positive future.

Improving health and saving lives

We contribute to life-changing health initiatives through funding medical research and Indigenous health scholarships, through Australian Rotary Health, Pacific island children’s specialised life saving surgeries, rural men’s health services, international medical outreach in under-served communities overseas and world wide polio eradication.

Strengthening our local community
We create connection and enjoyment through major community events and event services including Floriade gnome painting, antique and festival fairs, community bike rides, and event services that bring people together. We support the development of accommodation for people with mental illness, and accessible sailing.

These activities enrich community life and raise vital funds that are reinvested directly into community projects.

Making a difference beyond our borders
Internationally, we support humanitarian efforts including mine detection and health equipment in Ukraine, and the delivery of essential medical equipment, education supplies, clean water supply, and disaster relief, to some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.

Everything we do is driven by a simple goal: turning goodwill into meaningful, lasting impact and stronger communities.
