All young people (10 to 21 years) in Bimberi attend education or training at the Murrumbidgee Education And Training Centre - Bimberi (Murrumbidgee School), operated within Bimberi by the Education Directorate. The School provides a range of programs including recognised certificate courses, tutoring and transitional support back into the community.

At the end of each term, we give a Rotary Youth Respect Award to a student selected by the school's education staff. Selection is based on the student’s personal efforts in scholarship and showing respect to students and staff. The award is designed to provided a real benefit to those incarcerated giving them an incentive to “do better”. It comprises a certificate (to be placed in the recipient’s portfolio of achievements) and a gift of $100. The Award is presented to the recipient by a Club member at the end-of-term assembly.
